Hello, my name is Michelle and I am a Registered Psychologist, regulated by the College of Alberta Psychologists. I was born and raised in Saskatchewan. I completed my Bachelor of Arts with a Psychology major at Thompson Rivers University. I earned my Masters in Applied Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University. My passion for Psychology has led me to many wonderful opportunities working for a non-profit children’s organization, the Calgary Board of Education, in-patient care at the Alberta children’s hospital, as well as private practice.

I am an evidence based-practitioner who has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. My style is very empathetic, non-judgmental (regardless of presenting concerns), direct, client centered, collaborative and culturally sensitive.

Throughout my experiences I have had the honour of exploring some of the darkest and brightest corners of people’s lived experiences, teaching me that people can overcome some incredible challenges and come out on the other side with strength and hope. It would be my pleasure to be a part of your therapeutic journey.

Elizaveta is a compassionate and dedicated therapist serving the Calgary community, offering support to individuals navigating stress, trauma, life transitions, and emotional challenges. Originally from Russia, her interest in helping others began early in her childhood. Throughout school, career assessments consistently identified her strengths in people-focused professions, and she naturally gravitated toward roles that required empathy, connection, and emotional understanding.

Her academic journey began in education, but after taking several psychology courses in university, she quickly recognized that working closely with people—exploring their experiences, their histories, and their sense of meaning—was her true passion. This led her into the field of psychology, where she continues to bring curiosity, cultural insight, and a strong commitment to self-reflection into her work.

Elizaveta’s therapeutic approach draws from psychodynamic and existential theories, helping clients understand how their past influences their present and how identity, culture, and relationships shape their emotional world. However she is also trained in EMDR, and IFS and EFT. She is fluent in Russian and often works with clients who prefer therapy in their native language or who are looking for a therapist who understands their cultural background. Her experience includes supporting Ukrainian refugees through CIWA, individuals navigating displacement and uncertainty, and women recovering from domestic violence.

Clients consistently describe her as warm, genuine, and deeply attuned. Elizaveta balances structured, evidence-informed strategies with a strong belief in the healing power of human connection. Her sessions offer a safe space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported as they explore their emotions and learn new ways of coping.

Whether you are seeking insight, stability, healing, or personal growth, Elizaveta is committed to walking alongside you with care, curiosity, and respect.

Kevin didn’t begin his career in therapy—he started in law, following a path encouraged by his parents after completing a psychology undergrad. While practicing in a full-service law firm, he realized that what he enjoyed most wasn’t the adversarial side of the work, but the problem-solving, collaboration, and human connection he experienced with clients. He began to see that these were the moments that felt most meaningful and most aligned with who he is.

His work in divorce law also opened his eyes to how often relationships fall apart because communication breaks down long before anyone reaches out for help. This was disheartening, and it sparked his desire to support couples earlier—helping them rebuild understanding and connection rather than watching relationships dissolve.

Therapy offered Kevin the chance to make collaboration and meaningful problem-solving his entire job. Today, he brings a grounded, supportive, and practical approach to the individuals and couples he works with, helping them navigate challenges with clarity, compassion, and new possibilities.

Kevin brings extensive experience from both hospital settings and private practice, where he has supported clients through a wide range of mental health concerns. His specialties include Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, stress management, depression, and couples therapy. His integrative approach blends evidence-based modalities tailored to each individual — recognizing that healing looks different for everyone. Whether working with teens, adults, or older adults, Kevin creates a grounded, compassionate space where clients feel understood and empowered to create meaningful change.
